Gazprom gas output rises 6% to 430 bcm in Jan 1–Thu
MOSCOW, Nov 16 (PRIME) -- Gas output of Russian gas giant Gazprom grew 6% on the year to 429.6 billion cubic meters in the period from January 1 through Thursday, the company said in a statement Friday citing preliminary data.
Gas exports to non-CIS states grew 3.5% to 171.6 billion cubic meters.
Supplies to Germany rose 10.7%, to Austria 31.9%, to the Netherlands 36.9%, to the Czech Republic 7.5%, to Hungary 6.1%, and to Greece 14.3%.
In 2017, Gazprom’s gas output increased 12.4% to 471 billion cubic meters, while exports to non-CIS states grew 8.4% to 194.4 billion cubic meters. CEO Alexei Miller said in mid-October that the company’s gas output may reach 500 billion cubic meters in 2018, and exports to non-CIS states may grow to 205 billion cubic meters.
